My dear friends from church welcomed their first baby last Wednesday. A Boy!! He is so tiny and precious. I am torn between being thankful I am not the one at home with a tiny newborn and all that comes along with that. Nursing, no sleep, diapers, crying, tiny little sweet toes and fingers, milk, did I mention the no sleep. Yeah well I am thankful for my sleep right now but I remember the sweetness of a tiny newborn and sometimes ( I know I am crazy) I miss that time. Not the lack of sleep or the discomfort of life right after giving birth but the sweetness of a new precious tiny life.
Congratulations to the Welk family! I pray God's blessings over you for sleep health and joy during this precious time with baby Ethan.
