Grandpapa & Jude came to visit us last week. We had a terrific time and enjoyed catching up plus showing them around Portland & Vancouver.
Jude enjoys shopping especially in Portland due to the fact that they are tax free. Grandpapa & Nick took the boys to the park & Gpapa also took Evan & Gabe to the park on Tuesday too. Which was extra special. I was very appreciative of this simple act by my dad. Seeing my kids have special time with their grandparents is always such a significant thing to me especially since all my kids grandparents live far away.
We also got a chance to go out one night to Portland City Grill for dinner. See attached link. So cool. Amazing food & spectacular views of the city! The weather was sunny & blue skies while they were here too which was a treat for us since we have had endless days of rain & gray clouds!! Eeyore kind of days! UUUGGHHH!!
Then on Friday this week I decided to make a delicious quiche. Jamie my sil gave me a wonderful recipe that she got from her pie making class she took. Delicious!! Everyone loved it! Definitely making that again!
